So, you need some help with video? There are lots of places across the Internet that you can post your video, and audio content. Here are some of my favorite places to post video for Celtic Ozark Solutions. These sites also provide tutorials on how to do search engine optimization for video content.
Start with Tubemogul.com. From this website, you will get help with getting your video published across multiple websites. Don’t forget to do the following when you upload your videos:
- start your description of the video with http://mywebsitename.com . Add a space, and then describe what your video is all about. Try to keep this content to no more than 100 words, and 3 sentences.
- Add your keywords in your description
- Don’t forget to add tags to your video to help people find it. Also, put your keywords in the tags. Don’t put more than 10. You don’t want to be accused of “keyword stuffing.”
This site will also provide help with video statistics. You can log back in to Tubemogul, and see how many people are visiting your videos. This is a great feature to help you determine whether your search engine optimization content work is actually helping you increase web traffic.
I also have provided a link to YouTube, Viddler, and Tumblr.com. There are times that I only want my videos on one of these sites. Youtube is the number 2 website in the world in terms of the amount of website traffic it receives. Always make sure you get your video on Youtube, if nothing else. (unless there is some private need to keep the video away from the general public.)
