Blog SEO and keyword saturation is what I would like to focus on in this edition of my blog. Adding keywords important to your website in your blog seo can be just as important as adding them anywhere else in titles, H1, H2 subtitles, etc. Here is some of what you need to know.
Make sure that you use the keywords in their exact order. In this article, I am using the keyword “blog seo” as an example. Note, I have note changed the phrase around.
So, how often should a keyword be used throughout a blog article? The same basic rule applies to blogs as content seo. You want to have around 3 to 8% keyword saturation. The Online Marketing Website has a good ratio for this on their chart, which shows the averages of keyword saturation across various search engines. For me, though, I am currently trying to stay with a 5% keyword saturation rate. It is good enough to get the blog seo square with any search engine, but not so heavy that it ruins a perfectly good article or blog. I just can’t get completely past the English major in my blood.
Despite some of the statistics touted on Google’s Webmaster Help Forum on Something.com, getting keywords too heavy can get your blog article buried so deep no one will find it. After a blog article is posted, you want to be able to find a search reference to it in the the top ten searches on that keyword, or at least the top 20. (I do think there are a fair number of people who look at the second page, if they are savvy to SEO).
Get the keyword in the first sentence whenever possible, or at least the first 50 words. Make sure you hit the last paragraph of your blog also. Then, I try to scatter the keywords about every other paragraph, to keep a nice mix. With some of these basics, blog seo and keyword saturation can be an easy, yet very effective way to help get your blogs read.
